I’m Dr. Veronica Eyo, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a doctorate in education and a master’s in social work. I specialize in supporting mothers through the challenges of postpartum depression, anxiety, burnout, and the invisible “mental load” that can feel overwhelming.
My passion lies in helping women navigate identity shifts, relationship transitions, and boundary-setting during motherhood. I enjoy working with individuals and families, but I especially love walking alongside mothers as they rediscover their confidence and sense of self. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a professor at Pepperdine University, which allows me to stay connected to research and training the next generation of social workers. My therapeutic style is warm, practical, and collaborative—I aim to create a safe space where clients feel understood and equipped with tools to thrive.
When I’m not in session, you can usually find me chasing after my three little ones, cheering them on at sports or Girl Scouts, or getting creative together in the kitchen. I love to travel and explore new places, but I also enjoy the simple joys of crafting, journaling, and making my home a cozy, welcoming space. Most of all, I believe in finding little ways to “sparkle” every day—whether that’s through self-care, laughter with friends, or quality time with my kids
A fun fact about me is that I absolutely love to travel—I’ve explored places from Kenya to Mexico City and always come home with new recipes, stories, and inspiration to share. When I’m not traveling, you can usually find me cooking with my kids, trying out new crafts, or redesigning a cozy corner of my home.
