I graduated from Santa Clara University with both my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Ethnic Studies. I view therapy as a collaborative experience where I join the client where they are at and we work together to reach their goals.
Working at Santa Clara University’s Counseling and Psychological Services center gave me the opportunity to work with emerging adults and adults with various mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, OCD, life transitions, and relational/family issues. Taking a client-centered, trauma-informed, and relational approach, I particularly enjoy working with clients facing challenges regarding stress management, identity development, and life transitions. I look forward to continuing to work with all populations, and feel especially drawn to working with Latinx/Spanish speaking individuals and families.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and reading. I love finding new coffee shops and bookstores to explore!
I really enjoy learning about the ocean, especially about the different types of sharks and whales!
