domestic violence

Hi!

As a therapist who identifies as neurodivergent, I personally understand the difficulties in finding professional help that truly creates meaningful, long-lasting change.

If you’re in the “avoid, feel guilty, then avoid more” cycle, let’s chat. Continually being overwhelmed is a sign that your current life is NOT sustainable and that change is desperately needed. You’re exhausted. You thought things would get better with time but they haven’t. If you struggle with…

  • Procrastination

  • Low motivation

  • Brain fog

  • Extreme fatigue

…then you know how daunting small tasks can be. Feeling scatterbrained and not being able to explain "why" gets heavy over time.

I specialize in neurodivergence, particularly folks who have been diagnosed with, or suspect they have, ADHD and/or Autism. If you are not diagnosed I can also help navigate how to pursue psychological testing if needed. If you're a parent of a neurodivergent child, I offer tools and space for processing.

I also have specialized training for clients who have experienced domestic violence and trauma within relationships. Finding your identity after the storm is over can be exciting, scary, new, heartbreaking and enlightening. You "made it" to the other side but shifting into what life can look like is hard when you've survived for so long.

My educational background includes a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from William Jessup University. I also earned a dual Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies from Sacramento State University.

Outside of therapy, I like “nesting” in my home, Outlander and seeing if my garden has any new treasures. I have found the most honest version of myself when traveling solo across Europe. I’m a Scottish history nerd and enjoy visiting any and all sites. I’m an older sister, an avid reader, a Harry Potter fan, and a terrible cook.

I look forward to getting to know you the real you.
