Claire has her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy, from the University of San Francisco. Claire has also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from the University of San Francisco.

 

Claire feels passionately about providing a safe space for clients to heal and explore their understanding of themselves and the world around them in order to thrive. Through an integrative framework, Claire engages as a therapeutic partner and guide to support individuals in expanding their ability to cope with stressors effectively. In honoring the innate strengths each of us holds while utilizing respect and empathy, Claire will work to empower her clients to utilize their strengths and approach their challenges with a growth mindset.

 

Claire has previously worked in community mental health settings and school-based mental health services with a diverse range of mental health needs and populations. Claire has experience providing trauma-informed interventions with individuals, family therapy, and group therapy services in addition to providing therapeutic classroom support and consultation with school staff in therapeutically enriched classrooms.

 

Claire is especially passionate and skilled in her work with children, families, and individuals who are facing challenges with anxiety and anger management, self-esteem, processing of traumatic events and life transitions, attachment disruptions, and increasing social skills and confidence in oneself.

 

In her free time, Claire enjoys spending as much time as she can with her dog, exploring nature, live music, and engaging creatively with arts, crafts, and writing. Claire additionally enjoys being active whether that be yoga, soccer, or hiking.
