Bianca Spanish speaking

My passion for helping others stems from growing up in Latinx culture where mental health is not talked about enough. I am a bilingual therapist who is passionate about destigmatizing mental health.

In this practice, I plan to create a safe environment for clients to explore their uniqueness and interpersonal relationships. I tend to have a humanistic, person-centered approach to therapy with a mixture of some psychoanalytic interventions.

Regardless of the therapist’s approach, I believe that a good therapist-client relationship is imperative to healing. Therefore, I hope to incorporate the individual’s multicultural aspects and consider how they might inform their beliefs and actions.

I have experience working with adults, children and families. I believe each client has their own story, and my goal is to create a safe space that will allow us to work together through the hardships and give you an opportunity to grow in your own personal way.

Therapy can be a difficult process for some. I hope to work together with clients to find ways to uplift them. I also hope to help clients explore themselves. I find value in empowering clients to help them through their journey. In my past work I have helped clients who had PSTD, ADHD, depression and anxiety. I have also worked with children in the foster system.

I received my Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Bakersfield where I also earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.

I enjoy going to the beach and going on long walks. I also do enjoy watching a few reality TV shows.
