I was born in the Philippines and immigrated as an infant to the East Bay Area, where I grew up in a multigenerational home and a strong Filipino community. My therapeutic approach is client-led, collaborative, decolonized, and person-focused—I meet you or your child at your comfort level, while validating difficult emotions and challenging unhelpful beliefs. I view therapy as a partnership: you're driving the car and telling me the destination, and I’m the GPS helping guide, support, and provide suggestions along the way. I often use play, art, music, mindfulness, tactile tools like kinetic sand, and storytelling to support expression and self-soothing. I enjoy working with those exploring queer identity or gender expression, healing from complex trauma, or navigating the multifaceted experience of being a child of immigrants.

I have experience working in Los Angeles County community mental health settings with clients from elementary school through early adulthood, as well as families impacted by CPS, foster care, and school-related challenges. I commonly supported those struggling with ADHD, PTSD, Bipolar, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, bullying, stressful life transitions, and strained family relationships. I have a professional background in the medical health sciences after earning a B.S. in Human Biology from UC Santa Cruz. Amid the COVID era, I decided to integrate my passion for physiological and mental health and earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Mental Health and Wellness.

In my free time I enjoy cuddling with my cat, being in nature, mindful exercise, watching TV/movies, and video games. I have a huge family, so I am often spending time with my elders, babysitting, or attending social gatherings.
