Trauma-Focused Therapy

I am a dedicated Spanish bilingual therapist with a deep commitment to supporting the mental health and well-being of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community. With a compassionate and culturally responsive approach. I create a safe and inclusive space where clients can explore their identities, heal from trauma, and build resilience.

I was born and raised in a multicultural environment, I understand the unique challenges faced by individuals navigating the intersections of race, culture, and mental health. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, I provide therapy that is not only linguistically accessible but also culturally affirming, ensuring that clients feel seen, heard, and valued.

I specialize in addressing issues such as racial trauma, intergenerational trauma, acculturation stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship dynamics. Drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I tailor treatment to meet the unique needs of each client.

In addition to clinical work, I am an advocate for mental health equity and actively participate in community outreach, workshops, and trainings aimed at reducing stigma and increasing access to mental health care for underserved populations. I believe in the power of healing through connection and am passionate about empowering clients to reclaim their narratives and thrive.

I hold a PhD in Professional Counseling from Amridge University and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families. I am dedicated to fostering healing and growth within the BIPOC community, one session at a time.
