social skills

My mission is to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. I focus on taking a solution-focused client-centered approach where I enjoy using a variety of techniques including art therapy, play therapy, sand tray therapy, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness-based techniques. I see therapy as a collaborative journey, where I approach each session with empathy, respect, curiosity, and a genuine desire to help you reach your therapeutic goals. I believe that everyone has the capacity for change, and with the right support, you can cultivate the tools you need to thrive.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. Previously I provided school-based mental health services where I helped clients navigate major life transitions, depression, anxiety, anger management, grief/loss, self image, school related stress, social skills, neurodiversity, and family challenges.

I earned a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology and Psychology from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my dog. I recharge by reading, playing tennis, going in long walks, and finding the best sweet treats in town.

Fun Fact: I grew up on a ranch with traditional farm and exotic animals in south central Texas.
