I am a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, fluent in English and Spanish, and I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and have experience supporting children, teens, and adults through a variety of life challenges. My approach is trauma-informed and compassionate, and I often incorporate mindfulness, person-centered, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients find balance and healing. I have had the privilege of working with survivors of domestic violence and individuals navigating trauma, change and personal growth. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University with an emphasis in Latinx Studies and my Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development from San Francisco State University. I believe in the power of connection, self-awareness, and resilience, and I am dedicated to helping my community.
In my spare time I enjoy trying new recipes and cooking for friends and family. I believe self-care is very important, and I love to recharge by listening to good music, dancing, being around loved ones, and treating myself to a good coffee and sweet treat.
Fun Fact about me: My fun fact is that I love watching a good horror movie. I will cover my ears and peek my eyes through my fingers, but I love watching a good scary movie or psychological thriller! Bonus fact, I love food. My love language is cooking for others, and I really enjoy trying new/all foods.
