eating disorder

I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I have specialized training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method for couples therapy, and Art Therapy. My clinical experience includes working with individuals, couples, and families facing anxiety, depression, addiction, eating disorders, trauma, and life transitions.

As a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish), I strive to create a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive space for healing. I am passionate about integrating mindfulness, creative expression, and evidence-based therapies to help clients achieve meaningful growth.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy trail hiking, spending time in nature, and painting as a way to recharge and find balance. I value mindfulness and hiking, integrating them into both my personal life and therapeutic work. I also love exploring different modalities and perspectives, believing that continuous learning enriches both personal growth and my work as a therapist.

Fun Facts: My love for art and animals led me to explore art and pet therapy, deepening my passion for healing and connection. My family and two Persian cats bring so much joy into my life—they are both silly, playful, and full of personality! I’ve seen firsthand how animals and creative expression can provide calm, joy, and emotional support, inspiring me to incorporate art therapy and mindfulness into my work with clients. Plus, my cats and I have a lot in common—we both love treats, and they teach me the art of patience. They’re natural little therapists themselves!
