Tara is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, a Board Certified Art Therapist and a PhD Candidate at Meridian University. She received her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Art Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University. Tara received her Bachelors Degree in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!).

 

Along with 25 years of clinical experience working in schools, residential, wrap-around and private practice, Tara also is a Clinical Supervisor, a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, a Certified Trauma Specialist, and provides international clinical consultation. She is currently completing certification in Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy.

 

Tara enjoys many hobbies to balance out life, including collecting and selling vintage jewelry, seeing live music with friends often, hanging out with family, and especially being around her French Bulldog ‘Hank’ and her Boston Terrier ‘Daisy’.
