I view my role as a psychotherapist to create a safe and confidential environment to explore your concerns.

During therapy, I provide warm and compassionate support to enhance your ability to make your own choices and take actions that are effective toward your goals. I thoughtfully draw from the insights and techniques of a variety psychological theories that I believe can effect change. I embrace diversity, and focus on openness, acceptance, and kindness.

In the past, I have worked at a community agency and schools as a psychotherapist. This experience includes working with children, adults, and families for anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder), substance abuse, grief, relational issues, parenting issues, couples’ issues, and multicultural issues.

I am married and the mother of two young adult children. Before settling in the Bay Area, I lived in Asia, Europe, and on the U.S. East Coast. In my free time, I enjoy jogging, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family and our sweet dog, “Sharpie.”
