I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology, as well as my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. I am passionate about multicultural issues and working with individuals through family conflict. As a multiracial individual, I connect to the difficulties that can come with navigating your identity. I have experience working around boundary setting, communication skills, and self-searching.
Through therapy, I aim to provide you with a better understanding of your trauma and/or challenges in order to improve your quality of life. I include you in all aspects of the therapeutic process so you can feel empowered to make informed decisions. Together we create a functional treatment plan, then implement it. My intention is to supply you with a road map towards functioning without being hindered by your challenges.
I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients. These include individuals, young adults, adolescents, and couples who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, coping skills, self-esteem issues, trauma, multicultural counseling, and intercultural issues.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, walks with my dogs, visiting famer’s markets, and going to brunch with my husband.
