The most important story you will ever write is your own.

Every chapter of your life is an intrinsic part of the one of a kind story of you. Everyone has a unique experience that is to be validated and acknowledged. Every person is the author of their life and deserves to write a fulfilling masterpiece. Sometimes the narrative is not clear. Factors such as stress, unexpected changes, relationship or career disruptions, or moments requiring important decisions can lead us to think our present circumstances are permanent. Yet each moment presents choices that shape the quality of our lives. Often, when feeling overwhelmed, support from an objective and empathetic perspective can help a person find greater clarity and insight to deal directly with a particular life challenge.

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), my passion is to help women and families navigate transitions and/or overcome challenges impacting quality of life. My work is solutions-oriented and focused on:

  1. Women struggling with adjustments to sudden or milestone life changes,

  2. Families raising children with ADHD needing support in resolving concerns and strengthening positive relationships at home,

  3. Family therapy for adult children and parents experiencing inter-generational cultural dissonance, especially connected to life transitions.

Clients are supported to focus on their personal strengths by cultivating healthy coping skills needed in times of change and uncertainty. My style is based in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) informed counseling and Narrative Therapy. My approach is structured and evidence-based with an emphasis on understanding patterns and monitoring progress. Therapy with me is a client centered collaborative process. You are the expert on you. My role is to help you through the process of accessing your innate gifts, talents, and skills.
