Julie A. Keller
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #117941
I was born in Burbank, California, and grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. I moved back to California, in 2019, to complete a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). I am also studying to be a Clinical Psychologist and researching the area of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) as a resource for avoiding homelessness. I studied at Texas Wesleyan University, in Fort Worth, Texas, and graduated in 2017, with my Masters in MFT. For the past several years, I have worked with at-risk youth and JSOs in residential treatment facilities, as well as room and board and board and care facilities providing crisis intervention for patients struggling with their mental health. However, I enjoy working with people of all ages, socioeconomic situations, and general mental health requirements.
I enjoy working as an advocate for wild horses. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and taking care of my dog, Titus, and cat, Shadow. I also enjoy music, reading and writing, exercising, going to the movies and theater.
