Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker #104388
I have worked in the mental health field for over 8 years in multiple capacities. I have worked in mental health treatment, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient programs. I’ve worked with military personnel and other clients experiencing PTSD, major depressive disorder, anxiety, addiction, ADHD, neurological disorders, women issues, grief, mood disorders, and anticipatory grief.
My hospice and palliative care experience has developed in me a deep understanding of death and grief and the way those events impact those who are preparing to pass, as well as their loved ones who remain and experience the pain of grief.
I have also worked with children, youth, and parents who have experienced traumatic events impacting their lives and hindering their life’s perspectives.
The tools I use primarily come from evidence-based cognitive behavioral theory, strength-based, client-centered group therapy, as well as family therapy, play therapy, art therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family going on hikes, spending time in nature, doing art, and eating good meals. I have 2 children, 1 dog, 2 cats, and a lizard. My kiddos are my world and this is why I love Attachment theory.
