As a clinician, I understand that life can be difficult, and at times the challenges may feel impossible. Sometimes things beyond our control can place us in a state of feeling helpless or overwhelmed. This may include loss, trauma, a significant life transition, coping with chronic pain, declining health, or trying to adjust to life's changes.

I enjoy helping people work through any barrier they may be facing. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, relationship issues, and family challenges. I am passionate about supporting individuals and families to overcome life's stressors and connect them with ways to live a more fulfilled life. I have been trained in brain spotting, EMDR, and anger management.

I attended the University of Phoenix for and obtained my BA in Human Services, then  my MA of Counseling. After working in the clinical field for about 5 years, I later pursued my PPS School Counseling Credential. I have spent a large number of years working with adolescents and adults, with my counseling career beginning in 2012. I was certified as an Anger Management Counselor in 2017.  My specialties and interests include Generalized Anxiety Disorders, Major Depressive Disorder, PTSD, and Couples Therapy. I practice evidenced based models with my clients including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my four children. For fun, I enjoy running and baking.
